Washroom renovation this is expensive and tricky process. It requires good coordination between customer and contractor. Nobody wish to live without washroom for a month, right? To avoid potential troubles in the future during the washroom reno, we suggest what follows as the best practice for this process:
First: There are no such things as "fix a little and save money". Be prepared to spend MINIMUM $ 7,000.00 CAD for renovation of a standard size washroom. Middle range is 9000$, if you wish something better than regular - 10000 to ??? $.
Second: It has to be done according to the Building Code. Sometimes what you want and what can/may be done are different things. Building/Plumbing inspection with written permit is possible. It costs not so much but always increase project time (+ 3 to 5 days). We provide full process supervision if required.
Third: Basic wall material for washroom is cement board. It can't be damaged by moisture and lasts for much longer time than any other type of drywall or boards. Actually, "drywall" means "dry" wall )))

Fourth: Sometimes you will need self-leveling floor.

Fifth: Water insulation is a MUST. This is a very stinky liquid plastic. Be prepared to spend one day somewhere else but not at home. The color is nice, though.

Tiling: Tiling ALWAYS begins from THE MIDDLE of the wall/floor.

Results after painting AND furnishing. Would you like to get something like that? Call us or e-mail us! We'll be happy to assist you in your renovation
process!
This washroom reno project cost: 7800$ all in.
